New Interim BERC Director

BERC's new interim director is Murat Arik, who has been serving as BERC associate director for 11 years. Murat can be reached at 615.898.5424 or murat.arik@mtsu.edu.

David Penn has stepped down as director after 12 years in order to teach full-time. He continues to serve the BERC as a consultant.

Nashville Nonprofit Sector Economic Study

The nonprofit sector contributed $20.9 billion to the regional economy in 2011, according to a BERC study for the Center for Nonprofit Management.
