• Sales tax collections continued to gain in February, with the state and six of the ten MSAs experiencing double-digit gains.
• The unemployment rate improved again for January, falling lower than 9 percent for the state and nine MSAs and lower than 8 percent for five MSAs.
• Building permits issued for single-family dwellings gained again in February but at a slower pace than the previous month.
