• Nonfarm employment growth dipped somewhat in February. The state and six of ten MSAs show growth over the year, with three MSAs up more than 2 percent.

• The unemployment rate fell to 8.0 percent for Tennessee, lower than the U.S. rate of 8.3 percent and the lowest since November 2008.
