Business Competition a Learning Experience

MTSU’s second Strategic Management Case Competition saw 205 students participating for eight weeks for $1,800 in prize money and an eye-catching entry for their resumes. Only 35 students (nine class-champion teams) made it to the Dec. 5 final round, where Goodwill judged them on the quality of their research, recommendations, and presentations. BERC: Goodwill has $38M impact in Rutherford

Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee annually generates wages and salaries of more than $14 million and business revenues of about $24 million in Rutherford County while placing hundreds of people into jobs, according to a report from the Business and Economic Research Center at MTSU.
