Study: Shortage of STEM Workers Costing Tennessee Jobs

A new study says Tennessee has a severe shortage of workers qualified to fill high-tech jobs, a problem that could cost the state billions of dollars in lost business.

BERC's Tennessee STEM study

BERC: Goodwill has $38M impact in Rutherford

Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee annually generates wages and salaries of more than $14 million and business revenues of about $24 million in Rutherford County while placing hundreds of people into jobs, according to a report from the Business and Economic Research Center at MTSU.
