Nissan's Gamble on Electric Cars Revs Up

From the Tennessean: "The battery plant and corresponding Leaf assembly operation will bring up to 1,300 new jobs. 'Certainly, that number of jobs will make a dent on our long-term unemployment rate,' said David Penn, an economist at Middle Tennessee State University who follows employment trends.
