Nashville Gas Prices Spike at Pump

From the Tennessean: "As long as price increases come gradually, we'll adjust," said economist David Penn at Middle Tennessee State University. "We're lucky that this didn't happen in the summer driving season.... In the U.S., we haven't built any new refineries in a long time," Penn said, which will hurt if demand exceeds supply and there are no ways to increase the supply. "Enjoy these prices while you can," Penn said of prices under $3 a gallon for unleaded.
